VSpan-40 Tablets contain
Pantoprazole 40 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI)
that reduces stomach acid production. The gastro-resistant
formulation helps protect the active ingredient from stomach acid
before release in the intestine.

CompositionEach enteric-coated tablet contains:
- Pantoprazole Sodium IP,
equivalent to Pantoprazole 40 mg - Excipients: q.s.
Uses
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
- Acidity and heartburn.
- Gastric and duodenal ulcers.
- Acid reflux and erosive esophagitis.
- Prevention of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers when advised by a physician.
How the Medicine Works
Pantoprazole blocks proton pumps in the stomach
lining, significantly reducing gastric acid production. This helps
relieve symptoms of acidity and heartburn and supports healing of
ulcers and acid-related inflammation.
How to Take
- Take exactly as prescribed by your physician.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water.
- Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
- For best results, take 30–60 minutes before a meal, preferably before breakfast.
